Looking for Zebrano in Melbourne and surrounds.
Hi all,
I am looking for a stick of Zebrano about 1-1.5 metres long and about 150-180 wide. (or less) Somewhere around Melbourne. I have some timbers which I can swap. Old Blackwood, Birds Eye Maple, Peruvian Walnut, some figured Jarrah. We can talk!
Regards,
Rob

One buyer was from NSW and the claim is that the freight was too much to justify buying the wood
The second buyer thought that there were four boards in a lot rather than two. Understandable since that is how they appeared in the photos in his ad.
Wasn't overly impressed with the grain. Only one lot (that which was priced at $51 last night) showed any real semblance of book matching. The others just looked like a couple of bits of Zebrano put together.
Also, the boards are 25mm and 28mm thick. Didn't say what they were backed with.
But it was worth a look. Thanks again Cava.
Regards,
Rob
