I bought this 12= years ago and before even got it set up had to move house and this finished in storage Assembling and I come across these brackets,huh2.jpg I thought they had something to do with the rear guide rail, as they seemed to be packed in that box, but stuffed if I can work out how or even if they fit....
    HELP please

Hi Tonto. There should be four of them from memory. They are meant for clamping a router under the left hand table extension wing. I don't have them installed at the moment. The shorter bolt and nut are used to adjust the pivot point. It should become clearer if you hold a router in place. The longer hex part is to give clearance to the router body. Cheers.

thank you thankyou, that makes a lot of sense, nothing to do with mounting of the rear bar.

The instruction book does leave a lot for interpretation.

OK then I guess I rat around and find bolts to hold the rail on, the fence itself has a big hefty bolt at the far end, I guess that slides along under the rail/

Just had a look. The chrome rail has 7 holes, but only 4 are used to secure it. I guess it's a multi-fit for other saws. Looking at the saw from the back and numbering from left to right, holes 1,2,5 and 6 are the ones you need. Socket head screws are fitted through the rail to secure it. My fence doesn't have a particularly hefty bolt at the end. It looks more like a chrome knob with an adjustable threaded rod section. It allows for set-up adjustment of the fence clearance height from the table. The knob part then simply slides along the top of the rail whenever the fence position is shifted. Hope this helps.

Thanks for advice, got those sorted but blade question..

prove I am a noob... there was a CMT blade still in packet but its hole is way to big for the shaft.

What blade(s) am I looking for considering general woodwork, a lot of MDF, melamine and Jarrah. and preferably something that bunnies would have.

If its a good blade (as in sharp) all you need is an adaptor to reduce the bore to whatever you need and use it.

(If its not sharp send it out for sharpening)

    More info requested please
my rather the table saw fence is not sitting the way it shouldts2.jpgts3.jpgts1.jpg so where/what has gone wrong.
    please explain.

Also the fence is missing the little plastic doohickey thing that highlights the ruler ts4.jpg can this or something be purchased. I Believe Sturdee cannibalised a Gameboy or something for another of his wonderful refit mods

because of the rain and weariness I spent most of today trolling through old threads about the 10HB TSC and Sturdee way back in '05 used his triton extension and retro fitted to this saw.

But the pics have disappeared, Bigshed also did something similar, so if anyone has these pics on file I would love to see them.

Hi Tonto. Here are some pics of mine which should help. IMG20190519110609.jpgIMG20190519110429.jpgIMG20190519110442.jpgIMG20190519110456.jpg There appears to be something odd in that the warning sticker position appears to be reversed and also that on yours it's flush with the end and I can't see the height adjuster that you can see on mine. Anyhow, if you have the adjusters, just wind them in until you have clearance from fence to table and then adjust the other end for parallel to the table. It might pay to wind in the adjuster at the far end of the fence quite a bit to start and then fine tune after the operator end is done. Good luck.

    Thanks again Buscuitman.
the tail end is now sitting correctly

yes as you say warning label on other side, no big deal it might disappear altogether anyway
this is a closer pic ts6.jpg it shows holes on right side and I punch a couple through left side and there is another 2 as well so they match

I am guessing the height winders are the nylon things ? if so I am missing them..

so where am I likely to get them and also a eye sight glass?
in one of Sturdees very old threads he did some mods and one was a night view from an old gameboy, anyone got any clues Ive been through the grandkids stuff and cant see anything similar
