Question 30mm brad nails - where to get in Australia?

Hi there. I haven't been here for 2 1/2 years. Wow. It's changed.

Anyway, I have a really good brad nailer that I bought in the UK (Maestro brand, FYI) and the biggest brad it takes is 30mm. I've used up all that I brought home with me, and now all I can find are 32mm in ALL the stores I've tried.

Does anyone know where I can get 30mm brads?

(The ones I brought back from the UK were 'Rapesco' brand 180/30 nails. I believe that Rapesco is now branded as Tacwise.)

    Nice to be back.

    Hi Muzza

Try Bunnnings, they have 16mm, 25mm & 30mm brads in the tool section

C-Brads I think they are called. Can't remember the guage, but they are very thin.

    Cheers

Here in W.A., "Toolmart" supplies all the brads you would ever want. Not sure where you are, but hope that helps.

    Muzza

    is it a ME30 or a ME30-08?

The Paslode C brads fit the ME30

I'm not sure who carries the 21ga pins used by the ME30-08, but I'm thinking seriously of getting one

    Default Brads

    Hi Muzza

Going by the coding of the brads you had (Rapesco' brand 180/30 nails)
I would assume that they are 18guage x 30mm long
    18 guage (1.25mm) is a C1 brad
    16 guage (1.6mm) is a C brad
    They can not be interchanged

We would be happy to sell you them through our online store

Bunnings only had 32mm or 25mm.

I found them at TradeTools in Nambour in the end. Thanks for all your suggestions.
