Art Easals
Anyone know where to find some basic instructions on how to make an easal?
Had a look at a couple today and they're basically a frame with a top peice that can be adjusted (to rest on top of the canvas and I assume stabalise the canvas itse'f).

There was an article by Frank Weisner some time back in AWR, made to the same plan as the ones he supplied us at uni. Tripod base, and if made correctly they can fold together for transport really well. Good for serious use and the build is pretty straight fwd.
If you have trouble finding it I'll have a look through and find the edition. EDIT Its here
