Article on Rocker morticing jig
In view of the fact that some people have had trouble downloading this article from my blog, I am making it available for download here in two parts. If your budget does not stretch to buying a Domino, this jig can enable you to obtain comparable results. It is a bit more of a hassle and is a bit slower than using a Domino; but its accuracy is comparable.

Rocker morticing jig: an oldie but a goodie
The article on my morticing jig has been downloaded from my blog 3864 times by woodworkers worldwide since it was posted on my blog four years ago; as I have not been posting much recently, newer forum members may be unaware of it, so I thought I would bump this thread.
I should mention that it is not really necessary to use a dial gauge on the fence of the jig; you can achieve the same accuracy by measuring the distance between the static block and the fence block with an electronic caliper.
