Default Artisan Home Joiner Combination Blade Change.

Hi all, My apologies if this has been asked before. I have just picked up and old 8" Artisan Home Joiner Combination Table Saw/Buzzer. I need to change the blade, but not sure how to do it? Do I have to remove the entire table top by removing the large Hex key nut rebated into it? Any assistance from those wiser than me would be much appreciated. Thanks, Sam.

Sam, private message me your email address and I will send you the manual for the saw. You do not need to undo the top to remove the blade.

    Hi Ben
By any chance do you still have a copy of the manual for this saw please? (Artisan 8" by 41/2").
    Kind regards
    Andy

    Hi Ben,

Did you get hold of a manual?
    I'm chasing one as well!

    Cheers

    Thanks midnight man,

I've got that one from a different thread on here, I was hoping for a later version, I've got the bigger one 12" blade 8" planer with power feed.

    Cheers

    Hi Midnight Man
Very much appreciated and some useful info.
It's old and a beast but for what I paid does a remarkable job.
4 1/2" planer blades are a bit rare but I found a place in the US that does HSS and carbide.
Arbor bushes seem to be a thing of the past, at least in my part of Australia. I have found a place that does a number of 3/4" to metric adapters.
    Cheers

    Hi Gert,

I recently purchased a Artisan Powerfeed, which I am hoping is the same as yours, and am hopeful that you tracked down a relevant manual. I look forward to hearing from you, with some encouraging news. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
