Default how should I attach the kickboard

    I am making this.
    https://a360.co/2QX9iw5

Its solid timber top sides and bottom panel. I thought I would put a 'kickboard' front and back under the bottom panel to reduce racking. It will also be solid timber.

How should I attach it? Does it need to be glued? Does it need dominos? Or can I just screw it - bottom up and then on an angle so it also screws into the side panels?

    edit: just some more details
the mitres will have dominos and the bottom panel will be dominos. the draws are made of MDF as a separate cabinet and will just screw onto the solid timber case to give the mitres and entire table some strength

I'd glue and screw/domino it to the bottom shelf first, then just some glue on the ends when you clamp the sides on. You can drop a dowel in as well if you want.

It's also a good idea to glue it with the shelf and kicker slightly over length, then trim to length after for perfectly level ends.
