    Default Bandsaw Blade Issue

I explained what is happening with my Wood Slicer to Highland Woodworking. they have no idea what's going on. On coming in contact with the wood, the blade twists momentarily. It then contacts the bearing and straightens out. The cut that follows is near perfect. the damage is maybe 1/16" into the wood and that's it.

Details needed - what width blade, what bandsaw, how much downforce, and how much experience you have in using a bandsaw.

Also what is your bearing to blade gap width, (how many sheets of 50gsm paper thickness ie standard printer paper).
What's your band tension - maybe take a photo of your saws tensometer.

DD, I agree that it sounds like the blade is unsupported by the bearings. How much and why need to be answered.
