    Default Bandsaw job in Townsville?

    Hi all,
    I have a small burl about 400mm wide and 500mm long that I want to turn into side table tops. It is a slab about 60mm thick and has had all the cracks filled with polyester resin. Anyone know of anywhere in Townsville I can get it resawn into 2 thinner slabs? I'd like to get 2 tops out of it if I can rather than rout it back to 30mm. Happy to pay for the job obviously.

    There is a woodshop "ABC Timber" over in Schmidt St, Garbutt off Duckworth St that has a large Wolfenden bandsaw plus there is Studio Dubeld in North Ward. They may be able to do it for you or you could try any of the slab suppliers in the area - google - timber slabs.
