Biscuit joining a table top
I am making a table top 1 metre square from 30mm thick Danish beech, 8 laminations. I plan to use my biscuit joiner for the first time but am wondering should I use 2 or 3 (or more ?) biscuits per length?
Expert guidance appreciated!

Icecream,
It is best to use a biscuit about every 300 mm, especially if any of the boards are tending to bow.

Not to shallow in board,I have seen them swell and show in top when not deep enough.
I agree 300 is good.

as above, just make the first and last biscuits about50-100mm in from the ends, and 15mm depth (or half the thickness of the boards.)
everything is something, for a reason:confused:

Use as many as you like.
This is how I would do. Put 1 biscuit 8 cm from the ends and 3 in the middle.
