Beautiful result, Steve, and just the right size for that little niche in the room -- looks very cosy and inviting.

Will you make some chairs to match?

    Thumbs up

Im the same as Skew. I thought you were making a 12 seater

It looks fantastic and the design would also make a brilliant desk

Gday AB, I think you've done a brilliant job and I really like the style, although I would have liked to see it a bit longer but that wasn't your intention.

I think you should also make some nice elegant chairs to go with it.

If you don't have a tripod for your camera, may I suggest you get one. It will improve your shots no end, and then we all will get to truly appreciate your work. I try to avoid taking any shots hand held, as I can never seem to stay still enough and I think the problem is exacerbated by digital cameras being a little slower than a normal film camera.

    Very Grand.

    Thanks Zenwood!

Yes re the chairs - just 2 I've found a design that strongly echoes the table.

I'll be posting some WiP notes & pics as they progress.

I had much the same thought when I put it in place - just add a vanity panel, a slim apron and a small drawer. Hmmmm

Unfortunately Steve died not long after posting this.

I think that this table is a fitting tribute to a man who bought a certain finesse to this board with his wit, remarkable craftsmanship and ability to think outside the square when solving a problem.

    Will be missed by many.
