Boxing Day Sales - Questions/Comments
**Apologies if this thread is better placed somewhere else, It didn't appear so looking at the list of sub-forums**
I thought i'd start this thread to give people on the forum a chance to post comments/questions around upcoming boxing day sales.
I'd imagine there are a lot of people on the forum like me who are just starting down the rabbit hole and are still in the process of purchasing hand/power tools, materials etc. and Boxing Day with all its sales may result in a few extra $$ in the wallet.
So if you have any experience buying any of the above during these sales, please share!
I'll kick it off with a question, do Bunnings do a Boxing Day Sale? i've never really taken notice up until now... I'll will be procuring a decent sum of Bunnings vouchers shortly (courtesy of Credit Card reward points) so am tossing up whether to wait until after Xmas (if my money goes further), or buy now and build after Xmas...Coming Up With Complex Solutions to Non-Existent Problems Since 1985

Bunnings do not have sales at all, their policy is that they already have the lowest price, My personal opinion on Boxing day sales is, I don't bother if you are will the be a bit assertive when purchasing items it usually possible to gain quite reasonable discounts off retail price without waiting for so called "sales"

Agree with China. Bunnings do not have sales, however they will price match or beat a competitors' price. So compare other tool stores and if Bunnings has the same item (not similar) but at a higher price you should be able to get at least a price match and probably another10% off. This means however if you are looking at Ozito, Ryobi, AEG and possibly Bosch - there is no competition.
