A funeral is very costly, but if you just get the funeral people to do the cremation without any other addons and then send you the ashes in an urn it is less than half the cost.
Since light travels faster than sound,
People appear bright until you hear them speak.

I don't think this macabre at all. I want to be cremated and the ashes placed on the plants next to the workshop, so I can keep a friendly eye on who go in there.
My daughter "The Turning Terror" better watch out I'll still be around that way.
Peter.

Donate your body to medical science.
No funeral costs and new medical students get to learn on real bodies.

I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

I was leaning towards burial at sea but have just noticed that our good old nanny state requires a permit for dumping at sea. What could be more environmental than fish food.

Not if I'm the undertaker -- for a cremation, you buy the box but only "rent" thehardware.
But seriously, the State regulations are not much help when it comes to coffins. As far as I know, only an undertaker can rock up at a cemetry or crematorium with a body in a box or bag. If the undertaker wont handle a home made coffin, what do you do?regards from Alberta, Canada
