    Default Where to buy pulleys?

You may have read in a different thread that my bandsaw motor appears to be dead. I can get it repaired, but I may be able to get a motor that is twice the power for less than the repair would cost. That's pretty appealing, but the shaft size is different, so I couldn't just swap it in. I'd need a new pulley. The one there currently is a 4 speed one. Any ideas where I could get a 4 speed pulley with a 3/4" shaft?

    Thanks

    Peter
The other day I described to my daughter how to find something in the garage by saying "It's right near my big saw". A few minutes later she came back to ask: "Do you mean the black one, the green one, or the blue one?".

I would expect the shaft on the new motor is larger than the old one. If so have a machinist bore it out and re-Broach the keyway.

What are the sizes of the pulleys, just had a look through my box and I have one here that I can post to you. If its suitable you can have it for $30 + $10 postage. It is a good quality steel one.
    Cheers

CBC bearings have pullies and belts. They'll also machine them for you. I had one machined and I think the machining cost $20 or so. Good thing about CBC is they've got stores all over the country. I ordered from the store near work and picked up the machined pully from the store near home. Great service.
