Default Where to buy a roofing square?

Had a mate around today doing some work on our gables. Gav has some really good gear... Triton Multi stands which he seems to use a lot. And today a pair of TOWA roofing squares (protractors) which he used to work out the angles to cut a couple of pieces of timber.

Just wondering if anyone here would know where to buy these and whether any particular brand is better than another. Gav mentioned he thought not too many places stocked these.

    Thanks
    John

Have not seen the "Protractor" type but a normal roofing square would be stocked at any decent tool merchant

Hi China the protractor type you move one of the arms about to match an angle on a roof. Or you can set the desired angle on the protractor scale. One side of this metal square has an edge that you can butt against a power saw to make a cut.

It sounds like you are talking about a saw protractor rather than a roofing square. Most tool shops sell them even the big B I think.
