Uses for Camelia oil
For some completely unknown reason I bought a spray bottle of Camelia oil from Carbatec ages ago and figure that I should probably find out what it's used for rather than just leaving it sitting on my desk
Besides long term metal/tool protection, what other uses does it have (besides skin care...I'm not a geisha )?Every time you make a typo, the errorists win.

I use a drop or two in diamond paste when it gets a little dry on the honing block for sharpening blades.

Well that's one thing I could use it for.
I thought it dried hard and left a thin film though? That's why I've not been using it on my "active" chisels, thinking that it would be a problem with the edge sharpness and leave icky remnants behind on the timber that may show up under the finish.Every time you make a typo, the errorists win.

Give my planes/chisels a light wipe over as a rust preventative no problems then, especially where metal is concerned.
