Default Timber framed windows and doors - how to?

Hi, hoping for some directions on how to make timber framed doors and windows.
Taking on an owner builder house in ~2 years time (plus 2 years build time!)
I have a reasonable quantity of celery top pine and good quality woodwork machines.
BAL rating is 12.5 and I think ctp is OK.
All doors and windows will be double glazed.
Windows to be sliding and/or awning.
Doors to be hinged and either sliding or bi-fold.
Can anyone suggest any books, dvds, websites, etc. where I can learn how to construct frames?

First off and not wishing to be a wet rag ...

is it possible to achieve the required BAL and BAS ratings if you build your own windows and doors??
The stories I hear imply that certification is either very difficult or very expensive or both.

as to building your own ...
    two resources I recommend are:

Doormaking Window-Making For Carpenters & Joiners:
Fully Illustrated, with Diagrams and Working Drawings
a reprint by LOST ART PRESS of a pamphlet dating from around 1900 https://lostartpress.com/collections...-window-making

Modern Practical Joinery by George Ellis (Linden). Around 500 pages and 600 drawings covering almost everything you need to know -- except maybe pre-hung doors. But if you're making your own why would you want pre-hung anyway? This book was first published around 1900 and the 1908(?) Edition is STILL IN PRINT !! https://www.amazon.com/Modern-Practi.../dp/0941936082

if you want to build them right don't rely on youtube for instructions
    regards from Alberta, Canada

You have the machines, but what about the tooling? This can become quite expensive for a one-off project. May be an option to have the material run up for you and then do the assembly yourself.
