I'll third Sandpaperman, extremely pleased with their products. Recently bought some 600 and 1500 grit wet & dry, top quality stuff - as is all the paper I've bought from them so far, around $300 so far. Quality is superior to what I've bought before and cheaper for unit.

Lignum is right Quality costs and it is not worth using crap because it is cheap.
If you are buying on line then only buy quality brands not imitation asian junk.
Pardon the pun "Asian" "Junk" Get it? Ha Ha Never mind!

The problem with cheap papers is not how long they last or if they load up but the accuracy and consistency of the grit size in a given sheet.
If you have a sheet of 240gt with just 1 piece of 180gt on it then you effectively have 180gt paper and your sanding job is stuffed.

Just because there is a lot of crap on eBay does not mean that every seller there is crook selling crap. case in point the afore mentioned Sandpaper man sells some good (uh, ah, mhh) sandpaper, at reasonable prices !

I meant to go to get stuff from Magentic Abrasves for ever but they are not open any time i can go there . Ordering online has advantages you know !

It is true that quality has its price but there are still some reasonable deals to be had.

I always thought that sandpapers were the same, getting Norton Bear Brand from local hardware suppliers. On a trip to Timbecon I bought some Indasa wet and dry and Deer normal. The difference was incredible in both finish and longevity, to the point where I curse if I have to get any Bear Brand abrasive now. I also use Festool abrasives on my ROS which are also excellent. Timbecon sell online as I'm sure you know.

I get my sheets and discs from ATA Distributors in Port Melbourne. Found them to be very helpful.

I come here to suggest good places to get low cost best sandpaper, basically in sheets and rolls, in semi-bulk.

What I mean is for sheets in packs of 10-20 or something, and rolls (for 60, 80, 120 grit etc) in about the biggest rolls you get from the hardware.

I have seen what appears to be very good and affordable prices on buysandpaper.com and have done a little search around on the forum
