Default Coffee table, ( take 2)

After originally starting to flatten these boards 1 1/2 ago, they are back on the bench. I've changed the design and am looking at something like the pics below.
Question without notice: does it look to clunky. All pieces are about 35mm thick, although I will make the bottom shelf smaller, maybe about 20mm. All pieces will be joined by large dowels (elongated holes) with no glue. I'll use small wood L shape buttons to secure everything.

    All opinions greatly appreciated.

Personally I would keep the 35mm or go a tiny bit smaller 30mm.

I would also move the leg on the left in a little bit which means the shelf is going to be a bit shorter.

The legs will be in a little closer, i haven't cut the shelf to length yet and is still at an odd angle.

    Default Finally done!!

Well it has been pretty much right on 18 months since I took the first photo of flattening this coffee table. But it is finally finished and inside. I lost count how many times I put this away then come back to find that it needed flattening again and again. Heres a quick recap of the WIP.

    The start.
