    Default Concealed Hinges

Hi, First time poster. I am planning to put a door on a cabinet with concealed hinges. The front of the cabinet is angled such that the door will need to close to an angle less than 90 degrees, probably closer to 80 degrees.

I see a lot of hinges that have varied opening angles. Are there concealed hinges available that close to an angle less than 90 degrees?

    Thanks in advance.frame.jpg

I just checked the 90deg hinge and it will do it. 80 degree angle equals 3mm off 90 deg for 16mm carcase and there is enough variation in a standard 90 deg hinge to do this.
Alternatively you could place a 3mm packing wedge trimmed to the shape of the hinge section THAT AFFIXES TO THE CARCASE of the cabinet.
The person who never made a mistake never made anything

    Cheers

I think it is going on the left side of the door that's why he is saying less than 90, but I could be wrong

Unfortunately it has to be hinged on the right.

    Hi max86,

I was just reading through this and I was wondering how this went? Did you have success with a standard hinge?

    Kind regards, Andrew.
