Cool idea but the kit includes the rail. So what is the shipping cost to Australia?
The other concern I have about anything made in USA is how well it it performs in metric. It's a stepper motor but where are the steps after its run through that belt and gear?
I'm never going to rip in anything but metric except to fit the old house perhaps.
You would also need to replace the power supply which would be fine for me but it's a bit on the nose for something that is over $1,000. plus shipping plus GST.
What would be better is the same idea but with a manual brake and lower cost built from the ground up in metric. IMHO.
