first of all, not sure if this belongs here.

I need to getas much as imformation as i can about crumbed foam as for a wood report on a project (futon) i need to give a strong description of each material etc.

all i have been able to find out about it is: One of the most economical stuffing foams is crumbed foam. Great for use in large floor cushions or pillows, crumbed foam is a mixture of foam qualities chopped into small chunks.

Jeremy it is not that we are ignoring your request; more likely that we don't know what crumbed foam is. Your info says that it is a mixture of foam qualities chopped up. That should be enough to be able to argue that used on a futon the poor quality bits will soon lose their elasticity and you will end up with unsatisfactory bedding in short time. The only advantage might be to the salesperson who could sell it at a cheap price.
