i'm told by my colleagues that a rubber isn't used to rub out pencil marks
i'm also told that I can't use the word route ( pronounced root ) when describing the route between two nodes ( telecoms ) ... I'm supposed to use route ( pronounced rout ) because our American customers are unable to recognise that a word can have two meanings and will think that I am being offensive .no-one said on their death bed I wish I spent more time in the office!

Jackiew,
I can asrure you that our American friends understand the word root (or its homophones) to mean to get excited about a sporting team's prowess. It is totally lacking in sexual connotations, as far as they are aware.

The Yanks just don't understand why we would want to 'root' for a telecom or bus line.Photo Gallery

Or is this like the TXU guy getting excited about electricity ? (TXU is one of the players in the privatised energy supply industry in Vic for those not in on the [lame] joke.)

in victoria you need a license to keep a ferret ... try asking at the council or contact
www.ferretclub.org.au which lists
Victorian Ferret Society
Geelong Ferret Society
Mornington Peninsula Ferret Society
Though you may find that they are into fancy ferrets and won't want them to get their coats all mucky sending them down holes.
here is a link to a site which tells you how to catch rabbits and cook them

That's not a bad synopsis guys! I spent my first 4 years of school in the US.
I'd try and fix your little red wagons but I forget 90% of the ones I've come up against. Then lived in London for 2 years and and the combination of the first two had me bamboozled completely Gordon Bennett!!
Actually it's a very interesting subject and may be worth a post to explore them  NOT IN THIS FORUM THOUGH!!!!!!
Now it's Friday afternoon and I'm takin' me rabbits to get Brahms & Liszt and watch the end of the Jimmeny
