Damn ! Norm's show is a repeat again
Tomorrow morning's episode (garage workshop - episode #1 year 2000) is another repeat. I wish they would buy some of the original epsiodes, even if they went back to 1991, they would still be interesting to watch I think.

No argument from me. Surely they could pick up series 1 onwards cheaply and run them every night after after the wife and kids have gone to bed.

I complained to both Austar and to the Lifestyle channel. Not sure if it'll help but maybe if we make enough noise, they'll listen.

Do any Normites out there have a copy of the following episodes from the 1999 season?
Ep 409 Classic Kitchen Cabinets
Ep 410 Sink Base
Ep 411 Press Cupboard
Ep 412 Chef's Table
These were missed out of the end of Foxtel's last re-run of the 1998-99 re-run and I didn't get a chance to record them. This time, we didn't forget the gravy.

I too have emailed Lifestyle begging for the earlier shows, it probably won't help but you never know.
If anyone feels like doing likewise go to http://www.lifestylechannel.com.au/contactus.asp

I've seen the new guy and he seems to be an improvement, at least he gets stuck in and does the occasional job, he was a home owner in a previous episode.
The original idea was apparently that Steve would be "everyman" guess that means he was meant to be dopey but he was with the show for a very long time and was no longer (if ever) convincing in that role. He is apparently a well experienced architect and (in spite of what you might think of architects) it means he has a better than basic understanding of building practices.
I read somewhere that he left on good terms, all though there are many rumours to the contrary. he was quoted as saying
"Fourteen years, 16 Emmys - I'm extremely proud of all the television we did, There are many other projects I want to take on in life, and I thought this was a great time to do it."
Cheers

Gordon,
The show started in 1989, so there are 16 seasons.
