Design resources for mouldings
I number of years back I received an electronic version of a new woodworking magazine. Can't remember what it was called but it contained a very interesting feature on the traditional use of mouldings for upper and lower applications (i.e. cove mouldings generally go up top but the inverse roundover moulding goes down low). The article cited the Roman aesthetics in architecture.
Any chance at all anyone remembers this and can point me to a copy?
Or, alternatively, can you recommend some good references for this sort of thing?
TIA,
Michael
