Designer Breadboards
Hi
I would like someone to quote me on making some designer breadboards.
Its basically made out of beading ,backing board and skirting .I am looking at an initial 20-30 units.I can supply a photo and prototype of the board.
I would like a price of a finished board and a price for the wood cut for a board.
I live in the eastern suburbs of Sydney.
Cheers
Mike

Make me an offer
Hi
I would like someone to quote me on making some designer breadboards.
Its basically made out of beading ,backing board and skirting .I am looking at an initial 20-30 units.I have attached a photo and the size wise it its 50cm x 30cm.
I would like to use any Australian timber as long as its OK for food.
I would like to pay around $25.00 a unit of a finished board.
I live in the eastern suburbs of Sydney.
Cheers

Assuming you provided the timber and looking at the complexity of the boards, to make them for $25 each, to my way of thinking falls into the category of slave labour. There is a heck of a lot of work in each one of those boards. If they were pumped out by machine in volume it would be easy, but a small run, they are essentially individually made. That is time consuming.
Not having a shot at you Mike, just pointing out the reality of the situation, which most people here are probably to polite to do.Cheers

What he said.
$50-70 per board is probably closer to the mark
