    Default Dewalt thicknesser problem

Lines left on timber after feeding it through. Lines are evenly matched apart , seem to match screw heads that hold the blades in as when I change blades I’ve noticed the black has worn off the screw heads.

Which Dewalt unit is it? Has someone tried to resharpen the blades? Can you provide s photo of the blade and clamp in place?

Did you buy the unit used? Sounds like the wrong screws to me.

Pictures would help us identify the problem but as the others have said either wrong screws or the blades have been ground down so far the screw heads are proud. The blades are disposable so perhaps new blades will do the trick. That said I have got away with touching up my blades by hand in a home made jig so not removing much metal like a grinder would. One sharpen each side and you half the blade cost.

thanks for replies guys. I ma going to try some new blades as wonder if existing ones were sharpened down way too much so screws are now proud.
