I have about 8 mortice and tenon joints to do and was thinking a domino would be good but cannot justify the price for a once off job
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Sorry, you are too far away for me to just drop by with mine. Maybe someone up your way will offer to drop by for an hour or an afternoon?

Some of Festool dealers do demo's of how to get the most from the Festool range. Why not see if they will do a demo on your timber

]so dont, justify the price for every other piece of furniture you will make with it, not to mention the countless other uses of the domino. I can tell you it is most definitely worth the price. Not a chance in hell I will ever lend out mine, but people pay me to do their joinery with it.
