Default Dont sell your machines/tools unless you are quitting.

Sometime ago I sold my SCM/Centauro bandsaw because it didnt get much use.

    and within 8 weeks after selling it, I need a badsaw to rip 2 cubes of 75 x 250 into 35 x 250

I felt like an idiot but business is business so I went around and bought another bandsaw, not as new and compact as the S400P I had but still Italian.

    lesson learnt:
Never ever sell your tools and/or machines unless you are leaving for good (except if you are upgrading)

Sod's Law, proven countless times for me. Chucking out little used tools and especially those jigs and fittings gathering dust in the shed guarantees their need within weeks.

that's why I have a double garage and no room to do anything as its chocko. "i'll keep that, it'll come in handy one day", only to realise a few years later, nah throw it out. and 1 week after its gone, damn, I wish I had that bit I threw out. Murphy's law.
