An old dragon stabiliser
This is a quick fix for a wobbly mother-in-law.
The stick itself was turned from a Walnut off-cut. The antler handle was shaped with a file, cleaned up with sandpaper and buffed with U-Beaut's EEE.
The steel-tipped brass ferrule is from a selection bought for me by Mrs. Wood at a craft fair some time ago..

How did you steady the stick whilst turning WW. I imagine there would have been some flexing as it got thinner. It looks good and MIL should like it

I was once told that the ideal length for a walking stick should match the users inside leg measurement, dare I ask ?????
