experience ordering from thewoodworks.com.au
Searched the forums but could not find any feedback on this site.
Ordered some stuff more than a week ago. Still no update from them. A bit unusual compared to other sites.
So wondered what your experience is with them.
Cheers,
Christophe

I've ordered from them once before. I don't remember if the time between placing the order and receiving the items was quick, average or slow, but I did receive my items without issue. Just shoot off an email asking for an update.

That's unacceptable.
The owner is a member here "Mike Jefferys" but his last activity was June 2015. You could try a PM but that would only work if he gets email notifications.

There’s a number on their site, I’d try giving it a call and see if anyone answers.

I’ve ordered bits a pieces over the years and have recommended them before. Last order was probably 6 months ago? All orders have arrived within 3/4 days but then again we are in the same city.
If there have been any questions I’ve phoned him and he’s always quick to answer.

i have bought from them a few times and found that phone contact is the best way to get in touch .. if he is not there to answer he gets back fairly quickly ...
he told me one time that he "only despatches stuff twice a week and some of the stuff on his website he doesn't actually have but needs to get in from his suppliers" ...
he has always been amenable to talking and following through on any queries for me ... one downside for me is that he uses a courier who suits certain patterns of deliveries and not others ... that is to say they are fairly quick if you are in certain regions but woefully slow if you are not
i have a friend who uses the same courier for his business but says that he knows when to use an alternative

I placed an order with Wood works on Saturday 10th Feb. Had a notification today 13th Feb. that it is now in transit with Australia Post.
I will let you know when my delivery is made.
Regards
Keith

I said that I would let you know when the delivery is made.
Well the Order was received today.
Placed on Saturday, notification Tuesday, received Thursday.
Never bought from Wood Works before, but thought the delivery time was okay.
Regards
Keith

Just my 2c. I ordered from them on two separate occasions last year, both times delivery was completed in a week, no complaints about them from me.
