Default Finishing the ends for Internal Handrail

    Hi,

I have to put a maple handrail on a wall for a set of stairs.

As both ends are going to be seen,I am wondering if there is any tricks to finish them off.

    Regards

    Greg

If you haven't done so make the ends vertical and if you have a router run a little rounding bit over the two verticals and the top makes it look finished.

return the rail onto itself. Cut a mitre on the end and then basically cut another mitred piece that is docked off square with the back of the rail and glue i on. I will try and draw an explanation later. Do you have a pic of the actual rail and where it is going?
