    Default How to fix raised parquetry?

    We have just bought this handmade parquetry-top table, timber unknown, possibly oak? and there is a small 5-10cms triangular section which has raised. Any ideas how to fix it? We are thinking a heavy press and glue? Any advise welcome as we are not woodwork savvy but love the table and think its worth the effort.
