    Default A French classic

Christopher Schwarz of Woodworking Magazine is sponsoring a project which might be of some interest - a translation into English of the classic French work from the 18th century by Andre Roubo, L'Art du Menuisier. It is being published in small episodes in the Lost Art Press Blog.

The first installment is on the workbench and is full of interesting insights and explanations.
    Cheers

Thanks Jeremy! I was looking at Roubo's workbenches in Scott Landis' book last night. This will be a treat to follow.

that is a genuinely amazing project; can't wait for the following installments. By the way Jeremy, is that a Triumph Stag? (c'mon, you can tell me)

No, Bill - it isn't a Triumph Stag.

    Do you want three guesses?

Nah - I'll put you out of your misery - its a 1970 Peugeot 504 Cabriolet (another French Classic)
    Cheers
