Waaaaaaay back in the day Skew started a thread: Basic geometry instead of measuring?

Trying to collate the various "Old School" tricks of the trade to do geometry with basic tools and not calculators.
In the thread a member named Greg Q mentioned "The American Builder's Companion" by Asher Benjamin

Well, the book has become publicly available for download and includes enough figures, scribes and AD = BC for Skew drop into his own geeky little string and compass heaven. So I thought if it was such a delight for him, then others might find use for it as well. Happy Scribeing!
