Poplar has green running through it, but mainly white. It's the only one I can think of....

Are you thinking of a solid green tinge or green stripes through the timber?
I don't recall any timber that has a solid green and I think I have only seen one that has a little bit of green in the board.

I have seen a Tasmanian Blackwood table with green streaks all through it. Very unusual and quite pretty.

Greenheart as the name says but even that is only a greenish tinge. Where to get it I cant say and imagine the cost would be rather steep if you could find any. I would resort to a stain then any shade of green is at your fingertips.
Many years ago I used blue stain on a bathroom cabinet. Hay it was the 70tes.
Regards
John

Don’t think you will get much luck finding a natural green timber or one that stays greenish.
Depending on what you plan on using it for and where you plan to use it I would suggest using a white timber and staining it to the desired colour. Feast Watson spirit dyes are great and last well, but use a partial sealer if using pine to prevent excess take up in knots or end grain and to prevent botching in soft areas. Other than a spirit stain you could use a water based and or food dye.
Just a thought.Regards,
Bob

What size are you after? I have some Camphor Laurel that has a lot of green in it.
BTW Purpleheart doesn't stay purple, it turns brown eventuallyNeil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

No, your dreaming. Just like you wont find a blue timber. Staining, painting or the tricky use of chemicals is your options.
