Hafco BP-350 Bandsaw
Am thinking of buying a used Hafco BP-350 bandsaw. Do any members know this model and can you give any recommendations or cautions?
It looks fairly well built compared to the new machines.
Thanks,
Steve

I have a BP-352, which is probably very similar, do you have a picture of the actual unit you are contemplating purchasing? If so, that could be a great help as there are a plethora of like units with model names/numbers usually only differing slightly, while the actual machines are almost identical.

Steve,
Welcome to the forum.
I have the 355 and have been happy with it for about 8 years now. (I assume thats the one you mean.) H&F have it on the end of year sale just now. There have been a few threads on here about it over the years. As bandsaws go it's pretty good value. For secondhand the general rule of thumb is 1/2 to 2/3 new price provided it's in good working order.
Regards
John

The BP 350 and BP 352 are 1 HP. The BP 355 is 2 HP if that helps in comparing models.
