Has anybody had any experience with this model of table saw if so would appreicate any insights, comments, general opinion. It looks like a good option against the tsc -10hb.

Yes, I bought one recently - you'll need a friend help you put it together and move it to its resting place. Once this is done you WON'T be sorry, it has a good sliding table, far better than the TSC -10HB. You won't be sorry if you get the Hafco ST-250...

George do you think it would be too heavy for a mobile base, as at the moment equipment mobiltiy in the garage/workshop definitly an issue.I couldn't just plonk something of that mass in the middle of the garage and expect to get away with it:eek:

It weighs around 240kg and then you have the support for the sliding table rails to think about (the support for these can be raised when moving and reset when in use). I haven't bought anything for mine so far but looking at this http://www2.carbatec.com.au/store/in..._460_3620_3640 I may do so in the future. I am still a little hesitant though to move something this heavy around too much - I guess this is personal choice though and my garage is on a slight slope. The mobile base I gave the link to has a load capacity of 320kg. Let me know what you end up doing...
