    Default Hafele store in Dandenong

I am in the market for a coulple of sets of full extention draw slides.

Yes I have done a search

Can anyone tell me if the Hafele store in Dandenong is a sales store or just a display store.

I dont mind ordering over the net, but I would like to view the slides before I buy them.
I try and do new things twice.. the first time to see if I can do it.. the second time to see if I like it

    Red face Ring before going

    Kev,

They do sell at the store, but unless you are close it pays to ring before you go, I looked up hardware for filing cabinets in their online catalogue & rung only to find it would take 12 weeks to order them in from Germany  . The online catalogue gives part numbers & is several hours of entertaining reading

Thankyou both. Now all I need to do is find a day suitable for a trip to the "big smoke"

    Hi Brudda,

I know I'm in Tasmania but a local store is selling the slides for $10 a pair, full 600mm pull out. I could not believe it so a got 4 pairs for future use. If you by 10 pairs they will also give a discount down to $8. They had quite a few left on Friday. Details are:

    43 Burnett St

Sorry no email address. Best of luck.

My Bunnies is selling Howard Silver drawer slides 400, 450, 500, 600 mm including 'over travel' types. Have finally fitted drawers under the new bench and the 500 mm 'over travels' extend 550 mm and bring the drawer right out.
Quality very good and rated (from memory) to 40kg, Fletty
