Hardwood Beds in Sydney Region
Can anyone suggest an outlet in the Sydney ares where I can buy a good quality bed made from Aussie hardwoods. I'm looking for something that is preferably simple and well finished. There used to be a nice Tassie craft wood shop in North Sydney but thats closed. We've also tried wildwood but the standard of finish didn't pass my QA manager.
Thanks for any suggestions

One of the bedding mobs had Victorian Ash as a material for one of their beds cant remember if it was Sleeping giant or Snooze. When I lived in Kiama visited the furniture strip at Warrawong they were in there from memory.Maybe worth a visit

Nicholas Dattner, Pyrmont Bridge Rd in Glebe has such stuff. He advertises his dining tables in the Herald quite often, but he has quite a few beds as well. All made here in local timbers. Quality is excellent, but he isn't cheap.
