    Forgot to ask.
Can anyone tell by the previous pics if either of these blades need sharpening?
    Thanks,

do the carbide tips almost cut your skin -- are they painful to your finger tips if you pick the blade up by the tips?

if the answer is no, then the blade needs sharpening

The tear out is getting really bad.
    Due for a sharpening.

    Thanks for post.
Those two screws at the top are used to adjust the fence bevel to 90° to the table top.

The other 4 screws adjust the mitre settting.

As you suggested I loosened those 4 and pushed into the Miterset then tightened.

    much appreciated.

    ====

Used my digital miter gauge and spot on.

But the results are still not satisfactory.

    Out of 8 squares cut.
    1 worked.
    Tested again with no changes.
    Off again.

I'm not getting the consistence I'm after.

I cut a longer 8 side using the standard set at 22.5°
and a shorter 8 side using the segment
to see if the gaps are better hidden with a large number of sides.
Glue is drying at the moment.

Set the V120 to 0°, loosen the screws and push it into your Mitreset at 90°, tighten screws.

V120 should now be adjusted for 45°, if not return it to supplier as faulty. (Or you can calibrate it at 45° and have it out at 0°)

    Found my mitre cut solution.

    Un-acknowledged alien technology.

It's alien technology that exists buy no one wants to acknowledge it.

...If you're between 2 and 3 thousandths of an inch off per cut I (William Ng) would say don't worry about it. Thanks good enough. I you can get it better than that, then, thats going to be better for you.

One of the people I know in Sydney has one of those guillotines -- and I've had the opportunity to use it a few times.

Brilliant! Was just looking for a review.

    How was it?

    Easy to set and use?

    Was it accurate?

    Did it cut square?
    Thanks,
