    Default Hi, from the Goldfields

I am new here and to woodworking. I bought some basic equipment because I found 2 of these

I have made many mistakes and paid many school fees and made a few bits and bobs.

Busy with my 1st bandsaw box now

Welcome Canisbellum. Ooh, I'm jealous of you already, finding those treasures

Hope you enjoy the forum, and please, keep sharing pics, ideas, questions. Well done so far. Those two bits you are holding in your hand, i assume they are going to be the outside of a knife? Do you make the steel parts too?

@Bendigo Bob I only collect them it's a Saya or wooden sheath.

I found a few more today and cut some good pieces of Red Gum for bandsaw boxes, clocks etc
