Best Hinge Mortising Jig?
Looking to get a store bought hinge Mortising jig for cabinet work. I know McJing and Carbatec have them but unsure of their quality or ease of use for my makita laminate trimmer. Anyone else have have other suggestions. I really didn't want to waste my time and make one and also didn;t want to buy overseas. I remember there was a guy on the new inventers TV show who had designed a really easy one but I don't think it went into production. Chiselling the mortises is also out of the question as I can never get the right depth. Thanks in advance.

G'day Stinger9,
3 bits of MDF glued together to make a jig and a router. With a little bit of upstairs thinking it's easy to work out. I've got 3 jigs to cut out the mortices for the half-mortise locks and other various jigs to cut other hinges.
