    Default international timber slabs

I may be asking a bit much here but does anyone know where I can get international species slabs within Australia? Or does anyone know where to get highly figured, unique Australian species slabs? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

    G'day

Attached are some pics I took today which may give you a bit of an idea.

The last pic is of the same timber as a bowl and a cylinder.

I have around 0.5m3 of slabs. some are 50mm thick and a couple are 63mm thick.

I am asking $2300/m3 pro rata and calculate on usable timber.

I expect freight may be an issue seeing as you are on the other side.

Let me know if there is anything else I can tell you.

    Best wishes

G'day Mark, do you sell small quantities? I'm talking just one length or maybe even offcuts for electric guitar making. With a piece 1 metre long I could make two guitars and one bass neck. Bodies are about 360mm wide and 500mm long for a bass and a neck blank about 800 x 100mm, so I could cut the neck strip first then cut the main part in half.

    Default Happy for small amounts

    Hi BG

sure, small amounts are no trouble. I am in East Gippsland but often in Melbourne or I could post.

might be best to give me a call on 0419 562659 however I am in Melb until Friday when I can be looking at the timber to make sure I have the sizes you require.
