    Thanks Alex, the how is in the safety section, with the Gore warning. But for those that don't want to open that. I was trimming a peice of timber to fit a mitre guide for a finger joint sled and after 2 runs it was still too thick so I put a piece of tape down the side and ran it through again only this time it kicked up a little so fearing for my face I put my hand down. I had a push stick in my right hand but not one in my left also, I thought I was well clear of the blade but I thought wrong.
