    Default Jigs and cutting boards

It has become harder to find the poly cutting boards that a lot of us used for making jigs etc.

Was in Aldi yesterday and they are selling some unusual ones, they are 25mm thick!

Available in several colours at $12.99 ea.

Fred, the poly is readily available at my local Carbatec, and presumably Carbatec stocks this around Oz. Still, the Aldi price sounds pretty cheap.

Like DaveVman I'm keen to hear more about the use of Poly to make jigs, even some photos would be great

I find the $2 stores often stock them in sets of 3 or so. However, the thick Aldi ones sound potentially useful I'll have a look tomorrow.

Most people use the poly on the base of jigs, to slide in the T slots or mitre slots in table saws and router tables, due to its low frictional values.
