    Hi
I would like to be able to put a small logo on some of my work. Has anyone tried something like this

If it's just for a logo, I think you'd be better off having a branding iron made. Much more satisfying to use and it'll never break.

I can find out where old work gets them, it's out of China I think, or maybe Hong Kong. You send them an image and they CNC it out of solid brass

From memory it's about $100-150 depending on size and the level of detail possible is quite amazing; easily finer than 1mm line thickness, probably closer to 0.5mm

I haven't yet ordered one, though I've had this chap bookmarked for a while - his work struck me as good quality, and the prices seem reasonable.

I get badges for my work done by https://www.kopycut.com.au. I gave them the veneer, and they do 25mm circular badges done. Forget how much it cost, but pretty cheap. I'm away at present, so can't put up a photo.

I bought the Emblaser Core because i wanted to label my work with my name, timber type and make date so a branding iron was out of the question. I have found many more money making ideas now that i have the engraver. Laser engraving is absolutely precise and gives a classy professional finish.
