Hi
Recently I gained possession of a small edge belt sander(a Ledaboy).(more toys)
As I already had a homemade disc sander and a drum sander(Performax 16-32),the Ledaboy was the `missing link`in the workshop.

The problem was the amount of floor/bench space that the three machines took up,and lets face it you can only use one at a time.

The solution, mount them all in the one station.

The performax is mounted on top to allow connection to the dust extractor.

The Ledaboy is mounted on a shelf which has full extension drawer runners to allow easy access whenever needed.

The disc sander is also mounted on a slideout shelf that has a rear pivot which allows the sander to be lifted to a friendly working height.

There is a power board with switched outlets to save having to swap leads every time a change is made from one sander to another.
So the last thing to make is a drawer to store all the different sandpaper(one day)
cheers
