Hi All
Does anyone know where I might be able to get a knife setting gauge for the SCM S63 thicknesser or anyone have on laying around anywhere?
Cheers
Dan

If you can't find one, you can use a generic magnetic setting jig; the knife projection is 1mm.
You may already know this, but just in case: when you tighten the screws, start from the middle and work outwards, alternating sides as you go. From memory there are 7 per blade, so you'd tighten them 4,3,5,2,6,1,7

Another thing I forgot to mention, which you might also already know, is that the knives should be balanced in opposing pairs. A couple of grams difference in weight translates to several kg of force on the bearings when it's spinning.
