Default Looking for Bamboo Ply offcuts for small project.

    Hi all,
PlyCo selling 12mm plywood sheets for $230 or was it $320.
Either way too much for my small project.

Anyone know where I can get bamboo plywood sheet offcuts?
    I need the edging intact.

    Thanks heaps in advance.
    Thanks,

    Barry,

Try Leto Bamboo who are the importers, In the past I bought off cuts from them for turning projects.

    Yes the nicest people.

    The 10 to 12mm I wanted wasn't available.
Actually nothing in the 10 or 12mm at all.

Was about to settle on 19 mm which was way too thick for my project.

Really didn't want to leave without something.
Kept looking thru what was there to see if something would strike me but no.

Then offered to cut some off full ply.
From a planned order that didn't need the whole sheet.
    Saved the day for me.

Don't think the type was exactly what I wanted.
But very happy not to pay $230 for a full sheet at this stage.

I suggest using google maps street view to find and see exactly where before leaving.
My apple maps was telling me i was there but couldn't find it.
Wasn't surprised when I wasn't the first to call for additional instructions.
There was a rather small sign you had be right in front of it to see it.
And not driving down the road looking for a store front.

Call ahead and ask for exactly what you want.
Don't go unless they actually have it available.
Unless you just want to have a look and get something.

    600 x 1235 x 13 I think for $50.

    And really really nice people.

    hth
    Thanks,
